FInally got our hands on some!
Released back in 2016, Boy Man Machine is a painful listen. Much like peers Moloch, Thou, The Body or even Big|Brave, Drose paint with sound like Goya or Francis Bacon for your eyes - with little mercy. The band create an aural space not unlike that created by Steve Albini for rock and doom bands the world over, with a clear sense of performance space. This roomy technique conjures real images of physical contortion throughout; at times you'd be forgiven for thinking you've seen the ghost of Coil\s Johnn Balance in this eerily clean sludge. Not for the faint hearted.
